It's easy to pick up several Ball Lightnings early, which can serve as a great offensive core, dealing a bit of damage in addition to channeling. The general idea when utilising lightning is to build up some focus to deal good passive damage, evoke as regularly as possible for even more damage, and take plenty of block to cover yourself on turns you're being attacked. Lightning is the easiest of the four orbs to channel, as there are countless cards that can do so. Relics: starting orb, neow's, mummified hand, dead branch, thread and needle, astrolabe, bag of prep, data disc, bird-faced urn, letter opener, courier, cursed key, bronze scales, turnip, war paint, preserved insect, bag of marbles, sling of courage, boot.Cards to look out for: Electrodynamics, Thunder Strike, Ball Lightning, Static Discharge, Storm, Biased Cognition Upgraded: 1 zap, 2 static discharge, 1 white noise, 1 capacitor, 1 chill, 1 doom and gloom, 1 double energy, 1 self repair, 1 seek, 1 biased cognition, 1 defend, 1 steam barrier, 1 hologram, 2 leap, 2 coolheaded, 1 claw, 1 compile driver, 1 reinforced body, 1 echo form, 1 finesse. Not upgraded: 2x all for one, 1 scrape, 1 defend, 2x claw, 1x hologram The only thing missing I'd say is a madness to create an infinite loop with the second all for one, but honestly the deck did not need to go infinite to dominate.Įdit- here's the ending decklist and relics: The deck came together with powerful relics and a powers + claw /all for one build by the end of act 1 and proceeded to crush the rest of the acts. I don't have a way to upload the photos at the moment but this seed was really fun for defect: 18JY7ZHXFVFHH (on Switch, not sure if seeds are different by platform).
While I really enjoy the challenge that the game offers I would really like for my girlfriend to see some of the crazy and fun engine building/combo interactions without needing to play as much as I have. Now with that said.I'd like to know if anyone has any "easy" or overall fun seeds that they would like to share with me to have her try it.
#Good slay the spire seeds mod
In retrospect I probably should have had her play the Ironclad and I think thats what we'll do when she plays again since the Senshi mod is a little confusing (probably due to character limit on cards?) but overall its a great mod and I'm glad we played it. I let her know that dying is no big deal and she still gets progress to unlock more cards/relics. She had a great time and while our run ended on the second act boss (Bronze Automation) it was really a win overall. We then did a custom run where I started her off with a Sealed Deck, Specialized, Heirloom, Time Dilation and Flight. It was of course short lived but she really liked it. She insisted on using the Senshi mod and we dove into a standard run. I honestly couldn't have found a better way to introduce her to both the fundamentals of card games and the rogue-like experience.
Also I'm stoked for the new character (Whats it take to get on Mega Crits QA team? :D)Īnyways I recently managed to convince my girlfriend to try something new. I was a playtester for a number of Fantasy Flight Games card games and I was a big fan of Netrunner so when I heard about this game's designers being big Netrunner fans I had to check it out. I have 70+ hours (for me thats a lot!) logged and while I don't have much time for games between work and life but I try to make time to play this at least once a night. TL DR Can you share your "easy" or fun seeds with me so that I can have my girlfriend play it?
